Splash and Relax

Grand Timber Lodge offers two welcoming aquatic areas featuring indoor/outdoor hot tubs and heated all-season pools, locker rooms with showers and changing facilities, and sunning decks lined with lounge chairs. Whether you are returning from a long day on the slopes or are looking for a day of relaxation, the Grand Timber Lodge aquatic facilities entice you to sit back and unwind!

Building 5

The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs are beautifully situated to give you stunning mountain views. This impressive area sports a children’s wading area and water feature as well as a stone fireplace equipped with a seating nook to keep onlookers comfortable and cozy while watching loved ones splash around in the water.

Hours: 9 a.m.–11 p.m.

Building 1

Nestled among the pines, this pool area serves as a quiet oasis. After a dip in one of the outdoor hot tubs or heated pools, head to the steam room or sauna to soothe your tired muscles and let stress melt away.

Hours: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.

Hot Tub Closure

The Building 1 outdoor hot tubs are currently unavailable due to necessary plumbing repairs. We anticipate November 21 for completion of this project.

Grand Timber Lodge boasts state-of-the-art fitness machines situated in the heart of the resort. Towels and a water station are provided for each workout during your stay.

On-Property Dining

The Boot Saloon is located on property at Grand Timber Lodge for your convenience. This hidden gem is a place where owners, guests, friends and locals alike can gather in a friendly and casual environment. Enjoy comfort food by the warmth of the stone fireplace or from the solace of your room.

The Boot also serves as a private event space and can accommodate 25 to 65 people; the perfect spot to gather for a special occasion with your family and friends.

Private Viewing Experience

The Grand Timber Lodge features four private movie theaters! Each movie theater is equipped with state-of-the-art video technology and is operated by using a touch screen pad to select a movie. Over 150 movies are available for your enjoyment so you’ll find something for everyone with genres ranging from action and thriller to comedy and children’s classics.

All theaters offer eight luxurious recliners and two bean bag chairs for ultimate comfort—bring a bag of popcorn, your favorite beverage, and sit back and relax. Movie theaters are located in Building 6 in the Family Fun Center.

Movie theater reservations can be made in advance by calling the Front Desk or Concierge (owners only). Non-owners may make a reservation upon arrival at the resort.

Enjoy everything the newly renovated Family Fun Center has to offer. Send the kids down to the arcade or enjoy a few games as a family before heading into your own private movie theater.

The Grand Room

The Grand Room embodies the spirit of Grand Timber Lodge: a space luxurious enough to frame breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, yet welcoming enough to serve as a backdrop for your favorite family moments.

An enormous two-story river rock fireplace is the centerpiece of this impressive space. Enjoy a game of pool, quality time with loved ones, or cozy up with a good book in one of the oversized chairs. This gathering space features floor-to-ceiling windows and a massive sitting porch so you can soak in the beauty of Breckenridge.

Find weekly events taking place in this magnificent space such as family game night, family movie night, and art classes.

Most importantly, guests can also find freshly baked cookies in the Grand Room Friday-Sunday at 4 p.m.!

Grand Timber Lodge Market

The Grand Timber Lodge Market is your one-stop-shop for all your vacation needs. Forget any essentials? Not to worry, the new market is open and can provide any items you may have forgotten. From sunscreen to late night frozen snacks, we’ve got you covered.

The Market is located across from the Front Desk in Building 1 where our team will be happy to assist you.

Shuttle Service

Once you’re here, let us do the leg work. Make your vacation as relaxing as possible by ditching the car and hopping on the Grand Timber Lodge Shuttle. This dedicated, on-demand, complimentary shuttle service will take you to and from downtown Breckenridge.

To catch the shuttle, wait right outside the lobby area for the shuttle to return every ten to twenty minutes. To return, call our drivers at 970-406-0118 (the number listed on your room key) to arrange a pickup time at one of the numerous shuttle pickup locations on Main Street. It’s that easy.

During the ski season, Grand Timber Lodge shuttle drivers will be at your service from 8 a.m.–11 p.m. From spring until autumn, the shuttle runs from 9 a.m.–10 p.m. in the town’s city limits

Children’s Playground

Nestled at the edge of the larger pool and hot tub area in between Buildings 5 and 6, find an attraction that will keep the kids entertained for hours—The Grand Timber Lodge Playground.

While you relax in the hot tubs, a mere twenty feet away from the playground, your kids can twist and turn through the several compartments found on the jungle gym, enjoy the slide, and work their way up climbing walls and fireman’s poles.

In addition, the whole family can enjoy the water features and sprinklers located directly adjacent to the playground during the summer months.

Private Boardroom

The Grand Timber Lodge has built a reputation of being a gathering place for family fun. However, we also accommodate the professional and educational needs of our guests while they escape from their daily lives.

In addition, for groups hoping to embark on a work retreat, Grand Timber Lodge also houses a private Boardroom offering the ability to host up to 15 people with AV capabilities. While no internal catering services are offered, the Boardroom does feature a moderately sized buffet station with coffee makers, plastic utensils and glassware, so bringing in meeting refreshments is as convenient as possible.

Want to kick back and relax after a long day on the slopes? Grand Timber Lodge is proud to offer you DVDNow, a DVD rental kiosk with all the new releases.

To access DVDNow, just check in with the Front Desk! From there you will receive a rental card labeled red or blue that will work in its respective kiosk. Both kiosks are stocked with the same selection of films.
